What is Competition Season?
The squads will compete in 1-2 competitions during football season.
The optional competitive WJT Competition Squad is formed in early November, immediately following WJT Football/Cheer season. A separate try-out is held to form this team.
There is an additional registration fee for comp season as well as travel expenses to competitions, including the Jr. Nationals Competition. For the 2027 season, we will be attending JAMZ Jr Nationals in Las Vegas in January.
Unlike football season, cuts are made. We will make 1-3 teams depending on number & skill level of cheerleaders that try-out.
What is Jr STUNT Season?
STUNT is a competitive, female-focused team sport that transforms the technical, athletic elements of cheerleading—partner stunts, pyramids, jumps, and tumbling—into a head-to-head, four-quarter game. It removes the crowd-leading element, focusing on technical precision, skill execution, and athletic performance.
STUNT season runs from the end of February through the middle of May. Games are held on Saturday. Levels include 8U, 11U, & 14U. Unlike football season cuts are made since each team can have a maximum of 16 athletes per team.
